Summer is almost over! And that means that autumn is right around the corner. Not to be biased or anything, but fall is the best season of the year. With it comes pleasant weather, apple cider, SWEATERS, football and – for one lucky winner – a whole lot of money! With the Fall into Cash Sweepstakes, you have the opportunity to win $5,000 (think of all the school supplies you could buy). From August 23 – October 23, you can enter each day to win some of that cash money. And yes, you absolutely can take that big check, cash it and literally fall backward into it like a pile of crisp autumn leaves. We won’t judge.
The next contest-entering innovation is auto-complete software. Some Web browsers, including Chrome and Firefox, store your name and address and help you fill out forms with a single click. Wilman prefers software called Roboform, which she says has more features. She estimates auto-complete software cut her contest-entering time in half and points out that it eliminates typos that can disqualify you. "Auto-complete" software is different from "auto-submit" software. The latter promises to enter thousands of sweepstakes on your behalf but is prohibited by most contest rules.
Stephanie Beaver began sweeping after the birth of her daughter, who required neo-natal intensive care that resulted in a $30,000 medical bill. Breanna Pollard, a college student in Texas, sweeps to offset the cost of tuition and textbooks. But sweeping isn't quite as reliable as a paycheck. "You can't choose what you win," says Lesley Gagnon, a 45-year-old in Iowa, noting that gift cards and prize packages won't pay your rent.

The sweeps submitted are provided by members, with no incentive to submit them. At one time the owner would offer premium memberships for doing so, but has long since stopped, and never credited some members what he promised them. Books and blogs now take up 80% of what sweeps they offer, including "premium sweeps". Worse yet, what is now listed on the website can be easily found for free elsewhere online along with better quality sweeps. That leaves you paying $30 a year for saving and entering sweeps but since that function is not guaranteed, not to mention the website crashes frequently blocking you access to them, it is not worth the fee (See other reviews about this on going frequent problem)
Greg Goodson cofounded Rafflecopter, a widget for running online giveaways, and has collaborated with companies like NBC and Gap on sweepstakes. In an e-mail interview, he said that companies typically decide to run sweeps for three reasons: "to grow their online presence, to drive some buzz for their brand, and to give back to their fans." But the relationship between brands and sweepers can be uneasy.
To be clear I work at WynZyn. The entire business is about sweepstakes. We aggregate 1,000s of other companies sweeps from around the web. Aggregating sweeps is not unique, there are 5 or so other companies who do this as well. What we do to make our offering more enticing is - when you enter those 3rd party sweeps you get bonus entries from WynZyn into the WynZyn weekly sweeps. It’s also a pretty great place to stay organized. WynZyn - Login
FanDuel is more than just fantasy sports. It’s the best way to watch the games, win real cash, and bring the action right into your living room. After each contest ends, the tentative winners are announced (generally by the following day) but remain subject to final verification. The players in each contest who accumulate the most fantasy points and comply with eligibility requirements and applicable rules will win prizes as set out in the posted contest details. Prizes are added to the winning player's account balance. In the event of a tie, the prize is divided evenly between the tied players, unless otherwise specified. On Fanduel you can win cash without even paying a cent. From Big Game Bingo to Bracket Pick'em to our regular free play contests. Plenty of options to play for free.
I have been using the Go Freebies website for 3weeks now and have yet to receive any of the items requested. I have, however, overflowed my inbox with email offers from their site and taken their survey every time I visit. (And if your going to make a patron take a survey every time they request an item, it would be wise to not make them answer the same 12 questions every time!)

To streamline things, some sweepers are more selective about what they go after, as well as what they accept. "The first year I got into it, I entered everything and got a lot of stuff that was like, 'Eh, what am I going to do with that?'" says Gagnon. "I'm pickier now." Sweepers have also been known to turn down prizes they'd rather not pay taxes on; taxes are mandatory for prizes with values over a certain amount. Jennifer Joyner, a 31-year-old sweeper in South Carolina, explains, "If it comes down to a trip, it's got to be something that's once-in-a-lifetime, because the value of most of them is just not worth the taxes. I can plan something myself for a lot less. It's got to be something like a trip to Antarctica, something crazy."
Once I've grown a significant pool of contests to choose from, I can get pretty selective about which ones to enter, focusing on my favorite musical acts or prizes I might actually use. I usually don't spend more than five minutes checking in on any of my given lists, and once I'm done I can just wait for a friendly social media ping or mention to inform me if anything has come of it.
The more Sweeps you enter the greater your chances of winning. Sweeps are an odds game. Some Sweeps let you enter once a day, some once a week, some only once during the entire promotion period. If you have a sweeps that allows daily entries, enter every day to increase your chances of winning. (This is a "trick" of most Publishers Clearing House Winners).
