Sweepstakes with large grand prizes tend to attract more entries regardless of the odds of winning. Therefore, the value of smaller prizes usually total much less than that of the top prize. Firms that rely on sweepstakes for attracting customers, such as Publishers Clearing House and Reader's Digest, have also found that the more involved the entry process, the more entrants. Businesses often obtain marketing information about their customers from sweepstakes entries. Here, products are for free as well as company does not ask for specific knowledge for giving the answers in the contests.
Thank you for a great article. I have been interested in “Free” things from the internet. One day, I was thinking to have my own website to broadcast ” freebies” but I don’t know how to start getting the information. Is it ok to just post the freebies that I get from subscribing from other websites in my website or I need to get permission from the company who own the freebies.
A sweepstake is a type of contest where a prize or prizes may be awarded to a winner or winners.[1] Sweepstakes began as a form of lottery that were tied to products sold.[2] In response, the FCC and FTC refined U.S. broadcasting laws (creating the anti-lottery laws).[3] Under these laws sweepstakes became strictly "No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win", especially since many sweepstakes companies skirted the law by stating only "No Purchase Necessary to Enter",[4] removing the consideration (one of the three legally required elements of gambling)[5] to stop abuse of sweepstakes.[5] Today, sweepstakes in the USA are used as marketing promotions to reward existing consumers, and to draw attention to a product.[2] By definition, the winner is determined by luck rather than skill.[6]

I have a freebie group on facebook. I only post direct links to the sample or freebie and I always test it out before I post. So when members click the link they just have to fill out the form and press submit and wait for their samples/freebies! I’ve gotten hundreds of things! II’m also a member of bzzagent, smily360, influenster, crowdtap, reviewkick ect. Busy mom lol !

The moderators themselves are worthless. They are of no assistance when a problem arises, they can never answer any serious questions, they do such a poor job of editing and verifying sweeps that a good portion of members miss out on a large percentage of them. If you question a moderators response, you are warned, accused of being overly aggressive and threatened with banning.
Swarm, which is powered by Foursquare, recently introduced Perks, which give you discounts on purchases just for checking in. Right now, the app only partners with national retailers, but users can get discounts at stores like Famous Footwear, Calvin Klein, and Toys R' Us. Participating retailers will have little bags of money next to their name when you check in on the app, so it's pretty easy to find discounts. Swarm also gives you the option to participate in challenges, like checking into three summertime locations (like beaches or amusement parks) to win a $10,000 vacation.
Fortunately, there are some better alternatives when it comes to getting free stuff online and free samples by mail no surveys no catch. You do not have to fill out 100 surveys that require you to provide all of your personal information. Often times, this extremely sensitive information end up in the hands of web masters, whose sole purpose is to distribute your info to malicious companies. Now, not all survey sites are scams set up by criminals out to steal your identity. Some of these sites may get you a buck or two after completing a series of surveys from various companies, and may even offer you some cute little trinkets. However, even these offers can prove to be difficult to find, and who has the time to filter through all of the garbage?
You, average reader, have probably entered a sweepstakes at some point in your life, but generally tune them out, assuming that no one ever really wins a lifetime supply of Victoria's Secret lingerie or pricey diamond studs. But that's where you'd be wrong. This year alone, Wendy Limauge, the proprietor of Sweeties Sweeps, has won a car (her second) and a trip valued at $10,000. Other sweepers have won visits to movie sets, thousands of dollars in cash, and the chance to meet celebrities.

In the United States, sweepstake sponsors are very careful to disassociate themselves from any suggestion that players must pay to enter, or pay to win, as this would constitute gambling. Sweepstakes typically involve enticements to enter a consumer promotion with prizes that range from substantial wins such as cars or large sums of money to smaller prizes that are currently popular with consumers. There should be no monetary cost to the entrant (although some sweepstakes require entrants to subscribe to a promotional mailing list, potentially exposing the entrant to an increase in junk mail, spam email, or telemarketing calls) and sweepstakes winners should also not be required to pay any kind of fee to receive their prizes.[12]

Twitter proved to be an interesting new venue for contests. I entered nine contests there. Most seem like ploys to get more followers, including some very legit-looking contests from designer Vivienne Tam, and a Web site I know and like called DealsPlus. But many Twitter contests looked completely bogus, including one offered by a guy with 72 followers and a page rife with typos.

There are lots of other databases, but in my past searches for easy ways to win money and other prizes, I've found these two to be the best. Online-Sweepstakes has a paid membership option (roughly $3.50/month) that gives you access to lots of other sweeps as well as ways to organize the sweeps you've entered in the past. They also have a feature for paid members that will open up several different pages of contests at once to cut down on page load times.
Also, the junk email part is a given. You are gonna get those no matter whcih site you join. Now the value may differ, but it’s gonna be there. There is now ya around it since that’s how these companies make their money and can afford to do this. They basically are selling ad space (within the emails) to those advertisers and hoping you will become a customer.
Though the internet has helped the sweeping community diversify, there remains a large contingent of sweepers who are stay-at-home mothers. For them, sweeping starts off as a way to pass time, occasionally growing into a noteworthy source of income. "When I started hardcore sweeping again in May, part of my goal was winning Christmas presents," says Thompson. "But the other part was to show my husband that this is a viable work alternative, because my four-year-old's going to go into kindergarten next year."
The moderators themselves are worthless. The website has been going downhill for years, but what had kept it strong was its active members. The community used to be very open, welcoming and helpful. If you are not white, Christian, and heterosexual, you are not welcome. While disagreements between members happened, they were allowed to be resolved between them. However due to neglect, outdated tools, out of control moderators, decline in quality of sweeps listed, and the protection by the moderators towards particular members, I would not recommend this website or forum to anyone. The members that used to make this a great website are long gone, either banned, driven off, or gone on to better websites with better management and sweep offerings both for free and for the same cost as OLS. There is nothing left but a bitter, neglected, racist, bigoted shell, offering low quality sweepstakes and a broken website.

The free online sweepstakes website that offers great prizes to win. All brand name sponsors are carefully selected for quality of the sweepstakes and security. Some of the prizes can be in the tens of thousands of dollars. You can have the opportunity to win these great prizes too!
